Exciting Changes in June
July 8, 2015
June has been a busy and exciting month at CCFP. Our clinical team has grown by the addition of a new physician, Dr. Yosra Mohsen, our new Nurse Case Manager, Erica Hoffart, and our new Mental Health Worker, Kim Tucker. Erica will work full time with the physicians during regular clinic hours to provide expanded care and services to CCFP patients. Kim will be available to CCFP clients on a half time basis, currently Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 AM until 7:00 PM, by appointment. We held our "Grand Opening" of the office on June 19 and were delighted to show off our new space and services to over a hundred and fifty friends and colleagues. As well, the Saskatoon Health Region Primary Care satelilte clinic opened its door (at the top of the main stairs--look for the sign!) to clients. We look forward to working with all of these providers to enhance care for our patients.

FREE parking is available on site in the parking areas on the west and north sides of the building. Some stalls are marked clearly for the use of people who have disabled parking permits. Please make sure your permit is displayed if using these stalls.

Please do not park in the numbered stalls in the parking areas on the east side of the building, since these are paid for by the tenants of the building for the use of their employees and staff, including the doctors and staff of CCFP.
Welcome Dr. Steel

CCFP is delighted to welcome Dr. Stefanie Steel as the newest member of our full time physician complement. Please see her bio to read more about Dr. Steel.

Dr. Steel is eager to meet new parents and families in her practice.
Farewell Dr. Kucera
January 9, 2015
CCFP waves a fond farewell to Dr. Marsha Kucera. Dr. Kucera has been with us for the past six months as a locum physician. She is leaving to return to Calgary to take up new practice opportunities in Alberta. We wish her the best in all her future endeavours.
Dr. Andres is now working at West Winds Primary Care Centre
January 8, 2015
As of November 3, 2014 Dr. Andres has moved to the West Winds Primary Care Centre, the academic Family Medicine Unit for the University of Saskatchewan.  Her new practice address is 3311 Fairlight Drive and the phone number is 306-655-4200.

Our staff will be contacting patients who are registered patients of Dr. Andres at City Centre Family Physicians. Patients will be asked to confirm their intentions to move with Dr. Andres to her new location or to transfer their care to another physician at CCFP. The electronic medical record files for those patients who choose to move will be sent to Dr. Andres at her new location. For those patients who choose to remain at CCFP, most will be transferred to one of our physicians who is accepting new patients. We will attempt to accommodate requests for transfer to a particular physician but cannot guarantee that patients will be able to transfer to the physician of their first choice.

We wish Dr. Andres all the best in this move to Academic Family Medicine to focus on her teaching.
