Dr. Melissa Mirosh
MD, FRCSC Obs/Gyne
Dr. Melissa Mirosh was born and raised in Calgary, AB. She completed her first degree at the University of Calgary, followed by medical school at Queen's University. She did her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at the U of S in Saskatoon, graduating in 2005, and then returned to Queen's to complete the CARE (Contraception Advice, Research, and Education) fellowship.
After finishing her education, she worked in private practice in Southern Alberta before returning to Saskatoon in 2010. She worked in an academic position in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences, College of Medicine, U of S, until the spring of 2016, when she joined the clinic at CCFP.
Her work interests include obstetrics, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, and contraception.
When not at work, Dr. Mirosh can generally be found on the playground with her three kids, or off in the mountains. She is a die hard Stampeders fan (although will cheer for the Riders if they are playing anyone else!) and has won a longest drive golfing competition.
