Dr. Ali McKee
Dr. Ali McKee is a proud Scots girl. Raised and educated in Scotland by a Scottish/South African family, she grew up knowing the value of family and community. She brings these attributes to her patients, and believes each and every one of her patients are like family, and deserve the very best of care. Dr. McKee attained her initial undergraduate degree from the University of St Andrews in Scotland in 1999 and went on to the University of Manchester to attain Bachelor of Medicine, and also Bachelor of Surgery, in 2002. She is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatricians of Edinburgh and also Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners of London having done two residencies by choice!

She holds additional training through the Royal Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of London in Women’s health and Reproductive care.

Dr. McKee then went on to hold Certificate of the College of Family Physicians of Canada in 2012. She is a Member of the MD Psychotherapists Association of Canada. She holds full licensure as per the Medical Council of Canada and College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan.

Dr. McKee specializes in children and women’s health, and cares for all those who identify a woman, as well as those who do not. She is a proud ally of the 2SLGBTQ+ community and accepts referrals for gender affirming care from other Physicians when capacity allows, and works alongside local and national trans navigators in any gender affirming journey.

Dr. McKee is a committed faculty member of the College of Medicine, U of S, and frequently has students or residents learning with her.

Dr. McKee is obsessed with ongoing learning and is currently working on her Fellowship of the College of Family Physicians of Canada as well as her mini Fellowship in Paediatric Psychiatry.

When not working, Ali is most usually found in her kitchen/lab working out the ideal pH for salsa or the best pressure to can chilli. In between times she tries to train her 2 enthusiastic Dalmatian puppies. Her long suffering husband, and their embarrassed kids, humour her throughout these efforts. She identifies as a "glamorous geek"...
